About the Job

As a skilled MEP systems professional, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with building systems. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, effective communication, and the ability to identify cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose problems within building systems and resolve or escalate them as appropriate.
  • Utilize HVAC diagnostic equipment to identify system issues.
  • Review blueprints and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
  • Leverage knowledge of building plans to inspect structures and locate key serviceable items.
  • Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports to ensure accurate billing.
  • Work directly with customers to develop solutions to concerns in order of magnitude.
  • Upsell on-going maintenance contracts to non-contract customers when appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of MEP service experience in industrial, commercial, and/or building HVAC preventive maintenance.
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency including experience with Microsoft and Google products.
  • Ability to explain complex HVAC issues to customers in a way they can understand.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Must be fluent and able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a driving record compliant with Company policies and MVR requirements.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time.

Work Environment:
  • This position operates primarily in the field responding to customer calls for service on MEP systems.
  • Jobsite work is likely to entail varying exposure to weather potentially harmful materials or chemicals fumes odors noise dangerous machinery and/or other conditions typically associated with a live construction site.
