About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support the project team in the delivery of the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation, specifically the Reimagining Arts Centre Melbourne project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project stages from planning to reporting
  • Manage stakeholder relationships
  • Handle resources including budget, people and risk
  • Lead meetings
  • Oversee project governance reporting
  • Ensure compliance with risk management procedures
  • Review consultant and contractor reports with a focus on technical details, in particular building services engineering
  • Provide timely escalation of issues to senior management
Requirements
  • Diploma of Project Management or other relevant experience
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects ($20 million plus) or similar scales in other industries
  • A good understanding of client-side project management and curious to learn
  • Experience in construction, architecture or engineering. Experience in building services engineering design and/or project delivery is highly desired
  • High level stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with a diverse group to achieve common goals
  • Strong ability to analyse, interpret and distil complex information that can be briefed to others
  • Comfortable with presenting information to internal and external audiences
  • Ability to be adaptable and work under strict deadlines and high-pressure environments
  • Agility and accuracy with note taking
  • Proven experience with and understanding of current technology, operating systems and applications (e.g. MS Project, Aconex, Bluebeam, Revizto)
