Dispute Resolution Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispute Resolution Case Manager to join our team at Auto & General. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and advice to internal stakeholders on a case-by-case and issue-oriented basis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide thorough, impartial, and empathetic dispute resolution services to internal stakeholders.
- Manage investigations and responses to customer disputes received from the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), ensuring compliance with regulatory timeframes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Working knowledge of relevant GICOP & RG271 legislative requirements.
- Experience in dispute resolution, either insurance or finance, with a minimum of three years in a dispute resolution role.
- Strong negotiation, mediation, or conciliation skills, with the ability to produce win-win solutions for customers and the business.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
