Job Title: Logistics Operations Supervisor

This role involves leading and motivating a team to ensure smooth and efficient despatch operations. Key responsibilities include identifying process improvement opportunities, building customer relationships, conducting audits, and coordinating crew activities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the despatch team through expertise and action
  • Identify and implement process improvements in logistics and warehousing
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Conduct regular audits and stocktakes to ensure adherence to procedures
  • Coordinate the duties and activities of crew members to implement despatch plans

Requirements:

  • Proven supervisor/leader experience in transport or logistics
  • Understanding of capacity planning, schedule adherence, and DIFOT management
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, including load restraint and mass management
  • Experience with SAP
