Residential Aged Care Opportunity

Your role as a qualified physiotherapist in this setting involves joining a large, collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalized treatments.

Our award-winning Plena Care Pathway is an innovative approach to allied health services for our clients. This allows therapists to tailor programs based on resident goals and priorities, delivering evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-on-one therapy interventions, and group-based active aging services.

  • Comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations are provided to support activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment needs, pressure area care, skin integrity, arthritic joint management, and pain management.

The flexibility and adaptability required by this role involve demonstrating the ability to meet the needs of Plena and aged care facilities while working within the scope of occupational therapy.

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Australian working rights
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS worker screening and National Police Check
