Job Title: Crew Leader


About the Role:


CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled crew leader to join our Infrastructure - Survey Geospatial Team at our Norwell, MA office.


Key Responsibilities:


The Sr. Crew Chief will lead the field crew through survey assignments including planning and evaluating proposed field survey projects. The professional in this role is responsible for field crew activities including implementing and adhering to prescribed quality assurance measures and providing professional representation to clients while working at project sites.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • High school diploma required; Associate degree and/or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • NSPS-CST Level II certification preferred; NSPS-CST Level III certification a plus
  • LSIT or PLS preferred
  • Valid US driver's license required
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience required
  • MA DOT experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD design software & MicroStation software is preferred
  • Good oral and written communications
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge about the surveying industry
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrates a willingness to provide assistance to mid-to-senior level individuals
  • Ability and desire to meet client driven schedules
  • Must be able to carry equipment over rough, uneven terrain, and physically navigate varying field conditions
  • Ability to travel short-term is required
  • Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions required
  • Ability to represent him/herself and the company in a professional manner to the general public

Benefits:


CHA offers a competitive salary range: $30.76 - $37.25 based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
