Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator

This role supports workplace health and safety, security and facilities management across multiple sites. The Coordinator sits within the Human Resources function and works closely with stakeholders to ensure all areas are adhered to in a compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement robust security measures and protocols for all facilities, assets and staff, including surveillance systems, access control and incident response plans.
  • Ensure the safety of employees, customers, visitors and company property is upheld.
  • Enforce and continually improve current WHS policies, procedures and practices within industry regulations and global guidelines.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet operational needs while monitoring expenses to maximise cost-effectiveness.
About You
  • Educational background in Business Administration, Facilities Management or Occupational Health and Safety is highly regarded.
  • Fire warden and first aid training is preferred.
  • Proven work experience in Facilities, WHS or similar fields with demonstrated safe workplace protocols is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with various audiences clearly and concisely is required.
  • Attention to detail, time management and organisation skills are also essential.
