Commercial Disputes & Insolvency Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our team as a key advisor on debt restructuring, banking enforcement and complex disputes. As part of a dynamic team you will navigate legal frameworks related to corporate and debt restructuring, banking enforcement, insolvency and commercial disputes.

The ideal candidate will have between 5-7 years' experience in a similar role. You will have strong working knowledge of financing and security documents, security reviews (in particular advice in respect of secured creditors' rights and receivership work) and enforcement, insolvency, disputes and banking and commercial litigation.

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in advising clients on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, strategic decision-making, distressed situations and complex disputes. This includes negotiating and drafting agreements tailored to restructuring and recovery strategies, and providing critical legal counsel on insolvency-related contentious and non-contentious matters and running commercial disputes.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and case law;
  • Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
