Dispute Resolution Specialist

We are seeking an experienced dispute resolution specialist to join our team in Adelaide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to understand their dispute resolution needs and develop effective strategies to resolve disputes\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes for clients\
  • Analyze complex legal issues and provide advice to clients on potential risks and opportunities\
  • Develop and implement dispute resolution plans, including negotiation, mediation, and litigation\
  • Provide exceptional client service, ensuring timely and cost-effective dispute resolution solutions\
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve dispute resolution processes and outcomes\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of all dispute resolution activities\
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in dispute resolution\
  • Contribute to the development of business strategy and planning for the dispute resolution team\
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion\
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and other experts, to promote the firm's services and expertise\
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as required\\

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law or a related field\
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial litigation or a related field\
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients\
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a high level of attention to detail\
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills\
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines\
  • Able to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels\
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines\
