Transport Compliance Officer Role

Global logistics and transportation companies rely on sophisticated supply chain solutions to streamline their operations.

The Equipment team plays a crucial role in fleet management, international maintenance, and continuous improvement to maintain high service quality.

We are seeking an experienced Transport Compliance Officer to join our Equipment team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Equipment Design Manager, you will provide centralized management and support for equipment compliance tasks in permits and accreditations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering equipment permits & accreditations, including Performance Based Standards (PBS), National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) and Main Roads WA
  • Setting new equipment compliance schedules required under permit or accreditation requirements
  • Recording and investigating data to ensure compliance
  • Liaising with government agencies as needed
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to understand operations and requirements for regulatory programs

To be successful, you will need:

  • Experience in permits and road transport compliance
  • Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle regulations and standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills
