Job Opportunity: Veteran Services Consultant

As a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients, supporting them on their journey of recovery and return to wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing a caseload of veteran clients, providing in-person servicing and teleconference support
  • Supporting veterans and their families to return to work following service-related injuries and illnesses
  • Assisting veterans and their families to engage in community activities
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure veteran clients are supported and connected
  • Providing psychoeducation and training using award-winning health coaching tools
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to support mentoring, knowledge, and growth

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing (Mental Health Accredited), Social Work, Rehabilitation counselling, or Psychology
  • Eligibility for registration with relevant professional associations
  • Strong emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for working with veteran clients and their families
  • Good time management and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and complex problem-solving abilities
