Maintenance Officer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to guest repair requests, and communicating effectively with guests to resolve maintenance issues.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, basic knowledge of various systems and equipment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, inspect facilities for any potential hazards or defects, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Inspect facilities for any potential hazards or defects
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
  • Develop skills in various areas including but not limited to: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Six months experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
