
Strategic Compliance Manager

Manage vendor compliance for our organization. Provide leadership to our compliance team and oversee the successful onboarding of subcontractors in line with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic documented safety and compliance inspections including review of SWMS.
- Monitor corrective activities to ensure risks are eliminated, isolated or minimised and maintain the various registers and reporting requirements of the WHS Management System.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness requirements such as first aid, emergency wardens, emergency procedures and fire safety compliance at our corporate sites and display homes.
- Coordinate a range of activities that reduce the risk of injury and discomfort to workers (test & tag/ergonomic checks).
- Assist with the development and execution of the WHS annual safety plan including facilitating WHS induction and training to improve safety awareness.
- Provide training and guidance for WHS committees and coordinate their reporting requirements to ensure they have the skills to identify risks, operate and report effectively.
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of WHS Act and Standards, including development and implementation of WHS management systems, policies and procedures.
- Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
- Innovative and strategic thinking skills with the ability to see and suggest ways to continually improve, and a positive approach to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a high level of communication, influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Experience working in a similar role, ideally with experience using LinkSafe.
