Job Overview: Maintenance planning is a critical function that ensures the optimal upkeep and maintenance of Defence assets. We are seeking an experienced professional to fill this key role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for utilising the Commonwealth Sap S4/HANA System to plan and manage approved maintenance programs and Work Orders within work groups.
  • They will conduct maintenance work planning in line with fleet maintenance planning directions issued by the Senior Regional Planner.
  • Identify maintenance tasks, parts and resources required.
  • Source parts via internal and external means.
  • Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders on the progress of scheduled maintenance programs.
  • Liaise with the Scheduling team to effectively plan maintenance around customer priorities and planned completion dates.
  • Liaise with the Scheduling team to effect changes in scheduling to meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship and eligibility to hold a Defence Security Clearance are essential requirements.
  • It is ideal if the candidate has experience in maintenance planning or scheduling, a trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or similar), familiarity with SAP or similar systems – or a willingness to learn.
