Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to take on the responsibility of managing accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial records are up to date.
  • Accurately prepare and allocate costs to the appropriate G/L accounts, job codes and maintaining financial clarity across the organization.
  • Prepare EFT payment runs, ensuring all transactions are properly authorized and executed.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting tasks.
  • Completion and lodgement of BAS.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, addressing queries and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, reconcile bank statements, prepare and allocate costs, prepare EFT payment runs, assist with financial reporting, completion and lodgement of BAS, build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the Civil industry will be highly regarded.
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
  • Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification an advantage.
