About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Wellways Australia Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a wide range of services to support participants with daily activities, including personal care, domestic assistance, continence management, feeding, and mobilizing.
  • Work closely with participants to ensure their individual needs are met, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of care provided to participants, ensuring high-quality services that meet their needs.
  • Provide support with activities of daily living, such as companionship, transport, shopping, meal preparation, domestic assistance, and medication management.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or related fields (an advantage but not mandatory) or relevant experience.
  • Manual handling training and high care experience desirable.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on a fortnightly roster.
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android).
  • Rights to work in Australia.
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle.
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check [less than 12 months old] and Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
