About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Wellways Australia Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as personal care, domestic assistance, and meal preparation.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, promoting the rights and dignity of all individuals.

Requirements

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or related fields (an advantage but not mandatory).
  • Manual handling training and high care experience desirable.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on a fortnightly roster.
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android).
  • Rights to work in Australia.
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle.
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check [less than 12 months old] and Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
