Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Wellways Australia Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver personalized support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, domestic assistance, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and social support to individuals, helping to build their confidence and self-esteem.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, promoting the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field (an advantage but not mandatory).
- Manual handling training and high care experience desirable.
- Willingness to work flexible hours on a fortnightly roster.
- Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android).
- Rights to work in Australia.
- A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle.
- Satisfactory Police Records Check [less than 12 months old] and Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
