Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Precast Labourer with a desire for team leadership to join our dynamic team. As a Precast Labourer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and progress into a team leadership position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a concrete precast environment, operating concrete pump machines, filling molds with concrete, and using manual techniques to insert steel reinforcement bars into concrete molds.

About the Role:

  • Working in a concrete precast environment manufacturing over 300 different precast products.
  • Operating concrete pump machines and filling various molds with concrete.
  • Using manual techniques to Insert Steel reinforcement bar into concrete molds.
  • Using Machinery to Insert Steel reinforcement bar into concrete molds.
  • Use of automated concrete vibration machinery.
  • Using forklifts, overhead cranes and Tran stackers to move and store concrete products pre and post pour.
  • Showcasing your ability to lead a team.
  • Supervisory tasks as you progress into the role.

About You:

  • You must be reliable and punctual.
  • You should have previous experience in a precast environment.
  • You should have a solid understanding of precast machinery and automation.
  • You should have a solid understanding of a precast environment and OHS procedures involved.
  • A forklift license is highly regarded.
  • Previous team leader / supervisory experience is highly valued.
  • You must be a people person.
