Technical Product Leadership Role for Digital Transformation

About the Team

Our Tech team is comprised of true heroes who have taken our legacy success and turned it into an exceptional platform. By joining our centralised Digital Experience team, you'll be part of building and operating platforms and services designed to make our Technology teams' lives easier.

The Role

This position is responsible for leading the definition and delivery of technical products managed by the Pathway Engineering teams. These products empower our teams to innovate and experiment when solving problems for our customers who are at the centre of everything we do.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer journeys, gather, and prioritise customer requirements.
  • Evolving the Pathway Engineering product portfolio and vision, ensuring continued delivery of value to our customers.
  • Rallying the Pathway Engineering delivery teams around a common product vision, providing context and meaning for their work while assisting with prioritisation as needed.
  • Serving as the internal evangelist for the respective products/product portfolio, communicating Pathway Engineering capabilities to the wider Technology community.

In this role, you will believe in the 'platform as a product' approach, ensuring that our products are compelling, reliable, and fit for purpose. You will drive adoption of the Pathway Engineering services, ensuring clarity of measures for success on the products and initiatives you manage.

What Skills You Will Need

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated capability leading sophisticated product roadmaps that balance short-term opportunities with longer-term strategic activities.
  • Ability to process and translate customer needs into technical scope, working closely with our development teams.
  • Lean on your experience working with Development teams in agile delivery environments to drive phenomenal customer outcomes.
  • Good understanding of modern software engineering practices and associated technologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile development environments.
  • Experience demonstrating and explaining complex products to others, ensuring they understand key features and benefits.
  • Experience guiding internal go-to-market activities.
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and self-motivate.
