Job Title: Disability Employment Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Disability Employment Coach to join our team at Karingal. As a Disability Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to secure and maintain employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized employment plans for clients, focusing on their strengths and goals.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to clients to enhance their employability skills, confidence, and job readiness.
  • Collaborate with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful job placements and ongoing support.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress, provide feedback, and make adjustments to their employment plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and relevant legislation to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
Requirements:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion or willingness to obtain.
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to transport clients in your own vehicle (current license, car, and comprehensive insurance required).
  • Understanding and experience in delivering person-centered support.
  • Cert 3 or 4 in disability, community services, or similar.
  • Experience working within the NDIS environment.
