Regulatory Compliance Professional

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office, and also involves supporting the Incident and Breach Management frameworks.

Job Overview:
  • Assist in the provision of compliance advice to business leaders on risk and compliance matters.
  • Undertake compliance assessments of compliance incidents to support the regulatory breach assessment processes.
  • Review and monitor compliance with relevant policies, tools, systems, and processes required for the organisation to effectively manage compliance risks.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks, and the ability to provide sound pragmatic advice, guidance, and support to business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner closely with colleagues to drive alignment and consistent implementation of risk and compliance framework accountabilities.
  • Prepare (and present as required) concise and meaningful professional risk and compliance reports for management and related Boards and Board sub-committees.
  • Actively contribute to the priorities and work plans for the Risk & Compliance function.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management or a related field.
  • Relevant post graduate and/or professional qualification desirable.
  • At least 5+ years experience in a similar role or compliance role experience in the financial services industry is desirable.
