Regulatory Change Specialist - Energy Sector

As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for steering us through the evolving landscape of regulatory and compliance changes. Your role will involve overseeing the identification, assessment, planning, and implementation of these changes and proactively monitoring developments in the energy sector.

Job Description:
  • Monitor and analyze new and changing legislation, government policy positions, and industry trends in the energy sectors.
  • Provide early intelligence and insights on proposed changes to influence internal planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business goals align with regulatory strategies.

Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in regulatory change, compliance, legal, or risk within the energy industry. A strong understanding of Australian energy regulations and regulatory bodies is essential. The ability to lead change in complex environments and communicate effectively with senior executives is also crucial.

As a Regulatory Change Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's approach to regulatory compliance. You will work closely with our Regulatory Affairs team to ensure that our business practices are aligned with regulatory requirements. This includes conducting end-to-end assessments of regulatory impacts, translating regulatory obligations into actionable guidance, and developing high-quality reports for senior stakeholders.
