The Suburban Connect consortium, comprising CPB Contractors, ACCIONA and Ghella, has been selected by the Victorian Government to deliver the first major tunnelling package on the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project.

The package includes construction of a 16-kilometre section of the project's twin tunnels, including tunnelling between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley, 55 safety cross passages between the tunnels, station boxes at Clayton and Monash, and the construction of portals – the entrances and exits to the tunnels – at the stabling facility.

About the Opportunity:

As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in effectively managing the administration of all subcontract and supplier contracts and the financial administration for the project.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing the site office administration for the project
  • Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation and review of the project monthly report, including providing workings completed, programme, and cost data
  • Assisting with identifying, evaluating, and submitting potential variations/claims
  • Ensuring main contract payments are prepared and received on time

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications with 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Detailed knowledge and demonstrated high-level experience in project management, planning, budgeting, and cost control
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and apply contracts
  • Demonstrated high-level decision-making, negotiation, and influencing skills
