Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to lead our team of healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality, client-centered care. As a Clinical Leader, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical care, training, and education to support workers and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess competency-based trainings aligned to NDIS HIDPA skills descriptors.
  • Provide direct clinical care, including wound care, catheter changes, diabetes support, PEG care, tracheostomy care, and more.
  • Design, implement, and monitor complex care plans for participants with high-risk needs.
  • Support the mobilisation of our workforce through internal training delivery and reducing waitlist times.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and compliance with AHPRA, NDIS, and organisational quality standards.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical education, ideally in a disability, community, or complex care setting.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
  • Experience with ventilated clients, managing complex airways, complex diabetes management, Enteral Feed management, Ostomy care, etc.
  • Sound knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
  • Proven skills in adult education, clinical supervision, and evidence-based care.
  • Competence in managing documentation, incident reporting, and NDIS audit preparation.
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Ability to undertake intra/interstate travel as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based LMS or compliance systems.
  • NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, and unrestricted Australian working rights.
  • Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel across metro and regional SA.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Post-graduate qualifications in education, community health, or disability.
  • Previous experience in NDIS service provision, including SIL/ILO models.
