Job Description:

This part-time position (3 days per week, 22.8 hours per week) offers a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career with a reputable organisation.

In this role, you will partner with the business to provide innovative, best practice HR solutions.

This includes delivering strategic HR services, handling daily HR operations and consulting on customised human resources solutions to maximise organisational capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing sound and timely HR consultancy services to business leaders and nominated business units
  • Providing high quality advice, guidance and support, including resolution of grievances/complaints, the management of unsatisfactory performance and medical incapacity
  • Supporting the relevant business unit managers with the negotiation process
  • Consulting with the relevant business units to implement best practice recruitment and selection processes supporting managers with job advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and pre-employment checks where required
  • Assisting business units to develop and execute plans for effective employee utilisation

 

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Broad generalist HR / IR experience
  • The ability to develop productive working relationships with client groups
  • Tact and discretion when dealing with people and confidential information
  • Sound planning, organisational, analytical and decision making skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills with a focus on the provision of high-level customer service
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • The ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and adhere to deadlines
