Purpose: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing relationships with existing and prospective customers, driving sales growth, and promoting products and services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- New Business: Develop and implement business development projects to drive revenue growth, leveraging strong networking skills and a fearless attitude towards new business development.
- Customer Engagement: Work closely with existing clients to develop increased sales within their network by targeting unrealised potential, training, coaching, and motivating customers and their staff.
- Drive Sales & Promotion: Develop strategic relationships with key decision makers to promote products and services, ensuring maximum exposure and strategically targeted sales calls.
- Key Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with marketing managers, content teams, and other stakeholders to gain product knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (ideal).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing of sales skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
