About the Opportunity
Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Account Specialist to drive sales growth with industry leaders. This key role involves partnering closely with customers to understand and support their business through our product and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong, lasting relationships with key customers and their staff across all levels of business, supported by a high level of product knowledge and expertise
- Providing customers with expert advice on quotations, product selection and organisation and logistics
- Achieving agreed sales and margin growth targets and activity levels
- Embracing our organisational values, policies and procedures and being a supportive team member
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, colleagues and customers
- Ability to work to deadlines through good discipline, planning and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish productive working relationships with all staff and customers
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software package would be advantageous but not essential
- Relevant industry or product experience would also be beneficial
