Job Description

About the Role:

This position encompasses purchasing of materials for internal stakeholders (warehouse, operations, quality control), and support departments as required. A fundamental understanding of material planning is necessary, with the role working closely with internal stakeholders to comprehend their material requirements and address potential planning gaps in SAP.

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for revising and releasing SAP-generated purchase requests based on purchasing horizon, material expiry, and order volume. They will also update delivery dates in SAP based on supplier feedback and supplier back orders.

In addition, the Procurement Officer will manage the supplier registration process, update and maintain lead time and price lists from suppliers in SAP, and review and update material data for purchasing, logistics, and planning activities in SAP.

The ideal candidate will possess strong levels of proactivity, resilience, able to prioritize work under pressure, and drive for results. They will also have excellent analytical skills and numerical ability, able to manipulate and interpret large quantities of data.
