As a key player in the transport sector, we strive to deliver exceptional results through strategic materials management. At the heart of this effort is the role of Material Planning Manager, responsible for overseeing end-to-end materials management for QLD Services/Maintenance operations.

 

Job Responsibilities

This dynamic position involves leading and developing a team of Material Planners, coordinating asset movements in production, deploying process performance improvement action plans, managing delivery schedules in line with project needs, defining and validating improvement projects, monitoring and reviewing weekly/monthly KPIs, managing supplier performances KPIs, and collaborating with Procurement on risk/impact management processes including supplier selection.

 

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, IT savvy with experience using SAP or similar ERP, a sound understanding of supply chain and material planning, significant experience in a similar role, ideally within a similar heavy industry, and demonstrated leadership skills.
