Cable Infrastructure Specialist

This role oversees a team of Quality Assurance Engineers, ensuring the highest quality standards for data center network deployments.
- Develop and lead a diverse team of Quality Assurance Engineers and Data Center Auditors
- Establish comprehensive quality control systems, including inspection mechanisms and performance measurements
- Collaborate with network design teams and vendors to develop and enforce installation standards
- Manage end-to-end quality metrics, risk management, and preventative measures
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven process optimization
- Conduct regular site audits and develop remediation strategies
Responsibilities include collaborating across multiple disciplines and time zones. You'll review quality metrics from previous days inspections and audits, address immediate concerns with your team, conduct one-on-one meetings, participate in cross-functional planning sessions, analyze trend data, identify improvement opportunities, work directly with QA Engineers and managers to refine structured cabling and installation standards, visit data centers to ensure compliance and gather insights for continuous improvement, lead technical whiteboard sessions to resolve implementation challenges, and present quality metrics to senior leadership.
