Job Title: Communications Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and testing fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure. This involves working with experienced technicians to deploy and decommission enterprise ICT equipment, including server cabinets and racks.

Our ideal candidate will possess a current white card and ACMA cabling licence with endorsements in structured and fibre optics. They will also have experience in technical telecommunications, specialising in fit-outs and advanced fibre optic installations.

Additionally, the successful candidate will hold a NV1 security clearance or be willing to undergo this clearance upon employment. They will excel in collaborative team environments, working independently, and showcasing proactive problem-solving skills.

About the Job:
  • Design, install, and test fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure
  • Deploy and decommission enterprise ICT equipment, including server cabinets and racks
  • Mentor and train apprentices in collaboration with experienced technicians
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Current white card and ACMA cabling licence with endorsements
  • Experience in technical telecommunications, specialising in fit-outs and advanced fibre optic installations
  • NV1 security clearance (highly preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
