Company Overview

Goldmark, a leading retail jeweler, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies or errors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Assist in the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
