Job Title: Empowering Independent Living Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to empower clients with mental health needs to manage their daily life and maintain independence.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable clients to manage and maintain their physical and emotional well-being
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks in a non-demanding manner
  • Support clients in engaging in daily activities and participating in community events
  • Carry out domestic duties for clients, including meal preparation, household management, laundry, and cleaning
Requirements:
  • Australian citizen or has the right to work in Australia
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or above
  • Cert IV in Mental Health (highly regarded)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Full driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
