Join a collective of innovative thinkers shaping the future of sustainable development.

This role contributes to the growth and development of environmental services business strategies, specifically supporting the expansion of the environmental practice in Western Australia.

  • Lead various environmental-related projects and statutory approvals, including transport, energy, water, and resources sectors.
  • Develop Arup's Digital Environmental offering within Western Australia.
  • Deliver complex environmental assessments and approvals across Western Australia, Australian jurisdictions, and the Australasian region.
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders to secure pipeline and negotiate major contracts.
  • Drive the development of environmental planning capacity in Western Australia, including recruitment, performance development, morale, and motivation of staff.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or similar area.
  • Relevant industry experience in consulting, private industry, or government environment.
  • Experience in environmental planning, environmental management, and delivery of environmental assessments within Western Australia.
  • Project management and business development skills.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
