We're seeking a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of network utility regulation, technology, and strategic planning. This role involves identifying external factors impacting our major customers' electricity usage and developing non-network solutions.

This position requires:

  • Developing a pipeline of large renewable, load, and storage opportunities.
  • Collaborating with external organisations and government bodies to stay informed about emerging trends.
  • Modelling and guiding projects from concept to initial stages.
  • Providing thought leadership on how to transfer emerging technologies into long-term business strategies.

This role demands a high level of expertise in strategic thinking, planning, and effective communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of network utility regulation and technology.
  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
  • Thought leadership in areas of focus within the industry.
  • Significant experience in new revenue generation, product development, consumer insights, and strategic planning.
