1. Increasing independence and social participation among individuals with disabilities.
2. Facilitating connections between people with disabilities and local community supports.
3. Collaborating with NDIS participants to develop personalized plans that support their goals.
4. Enhancing knowledge of the NDIS within the community and promoting opportunities for participants to access services and support.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
1. Demonstrated experience working with people with disabilities or a strong passion for learning about the disability sector.
2. Excellent coaching, counseling, and connection skills to facilitate positive outcomes.
3. Empathy and compassion to understand diverse community needs.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems, as well as transportation and a Working with Children Check.
