As a Communications Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, writing and publishing industry-specific content, and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in editing complex information, writing and editing a range of content, and managing strong relationships with stakeholders. Previous experience working with indigenous audiences is highly desirable.

A current baseline clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Key duties:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies
  • Draft and edit communication products for internal and external communication channels
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with the wider communications team on public affairs, graphic design, social media initiatives

Skills and qualifications required:

  • High level experience writing, editing, and proofreading a range of industry-specific content
  • Strong knowledge and implementation of government communications strategies
  • Experience managing strong relationships and communicating effectively with external and internal stakeholders
