We're seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team in delivering successful outdoor events across Australia.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for a proactive and results-driven individual who can lead the planning and delivery of Outdoor Living & Caravan Expos. You will manage a portfolio of upcoming events, working autonomously on all aspects of event management, including project coordination, supplier negotiations, onsite operations, logistics, and post-event reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to scope, quote, and engage infrastructure and services for your event portfolio.
  • Manage onsite delivery of events, contributing to both your specific portfolio and wider company objectives.
  • Report progress and escalate issues during planning to management.
  • Participate in team development, innovation, and brainstorming sessions to contribute new ideas and processes.
  • As project lead, manage financial forecasts, report on performance, and provide feedback for future budgets.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and organize meetings as needed.
  • Develop and contribute to event documentation, including management, emergency, and risk plans.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Event management experience, particularly in operational planning and delivery of outdoor major events.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects with effective prioritization and time management.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills with third-party operators.
  • Excellent communication skills across all management levels.
  • Ability to follow systems and processes diligently.
