About the Role

The Anglicare Victoria team is seeking an experienced Active Outreach Practitioner to join our after-hours program. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to our residential units, foster carers, and young people in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to complex after-hours matters, providing expert advice and support to colleagues, carers, and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Provide hands-on support to colleagues, carers, and young people, including crisis intervention and problem-solving.
  • Support young people out of hours with transport, police, or medical matters.
About You
  • You have experience working with young people of all ages, particularly those with complex needs.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • You are calm, resilient, and able to make complex decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • You are committed to delivering high-quality support services that meet the needs of our clients.
