Job Opportunity: Behavioural Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Behavioural Support Practitioner to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Practitioner, you will work closely with clients and their families to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals with complex needs to achieve their goals, by developing and implementing tailored support plans.
  • You will also be required to build the knowledge and capacity of those who support our clients, including family members, carers and friends.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles and practices.
  • Experience in behaviour support and disability services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Diploma or degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work or disability studies.
