About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our departments, including Duty Managers, Supervisors, and operational staff. As a key advisor to our General Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Club's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor staff, identifying training and development needs
  • Develop and implement business improvements, enhancing member experience and operational procedures
  • Manage patron and member complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
  • Enforce AML/CTF, Legislation, Self-Exclusion, and member welfare checks
  • Oversee external contractors, security, and maintenance of facilities, ensuring WHS standards are met
  • Update roster templates to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service
  • Ensure staff and patrons adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and legislation
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar operational leadership position in the hospitality industry
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Inspiring leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing team members
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and financial reporting skills
  • Extensive knowledge of operations across departments, including gaming and food and beverage services, and relevant legislation
  • Knowledge and application of security systems and Club Emergency procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding of POS, Clubs House Systems, and other relevant technologies
  • RSA, RCG, Advanced RCG, Licensee, and Advanced Licensee competencies
  • First Aid Certificate and WWCC (or willing to obtain)
  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in a management-related discipline (desirable)
