About the Opportunity

As an Executive Construction Director, you'll be responsible for the successful design, procurement, and installation of facades for some of South Australia's most prestigious construction projects. With a strong focus on delivering outstanding results, you'll:

  1. Provide regular Forecasts and Reports on Project Performance to stakeholders
  2. Ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery, leveraging your expertise to mitigate risks
  3. Collaborate with our drafting and other departments to drive project implementation
  4. Liaise with shipping agents and key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  5. Maintain robust relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  6. Monitor and report on the impact of scope or extent changes
  7. Attend meetings and site meetings as required, ensuring effective communication
  8. Authorise payment of project materials and contractors, ensuring financial oversight
  9. Update and maintain our Project Management spreadsheet and systems, driving process efficiency
  10. Attend handover meetings to review documentation & information, ensuring a smooth handover
  11. Assess and report Projected Claims, monitoring performance and driving improvement
  12. Oversee overseas production and supply to guarantee on-site requirements are met
  13. Monitor project costs and re-estimate the cost of completion, ensuring financial prudence
  14. Maintain site safety at all times, working cooperatively with clients and WHS Officers

We're seeking an experienced Executive Construction Director who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in commercial construction project management. You will have:

  1. Demonstrated experience in efficient and effective decision-making in high-risk/high-profile project delivery
  2. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong track record of success
  3. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, driving collaboration and outcomes
  4. A strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
  5. Proficiency in project management software and tools, leveraging technology to drive efficiency
