Sales Estimating Professional

We are seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and precise cost estimates, managing construction costs, and ensuring profit retention for the business.
- Responsibilities include sales estimating from pre-sales through to building variations, generation of applicable documentation, and analysis of plans/drawings and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
- The successful candidate will also investigate, resolve, and produce sales costings, preliminary tender costings, and contract costings within set timeframes.
- In addition, they will prepare production estimates on standard and custom designs, including dual occupation sites, and develop costings and action variations on jobs that are in pre-site & on-site stages.
- Working closely with construction, the Sales Estimator will ensure high-level cost control is maintained at all times.
- Key responsibilities also include managing trade/supplier ETO's to establish better working practices to ensure margin retention.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret plans, drawings, and documentation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs, with the ability to analyze and manage budgets.
