Job Description:

Your Role is to support the Return to Work Specialist space while developing skills, knowledge, and experience in managing face-to-face interactions with workers, employers, and providers.

This role involves managing a portfolio of medical expense claims and provides an exciting opportunity for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical, process, and interpersonal skills through a 6-month competency framework;
  • Manage a portfolio of medical expense claims, ensuring risk assessments are carried out and escalating claims as necessary;
  • Provide effective and efficient claims administration to ensure injured workers receive fair compensation;
  • Offer high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to act as the key decision maker for all claims allocated;
  • Facilitate cost management strategies on claims to ensure sustainability;
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the appropriate system at all times;
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You will need recent work experience in a customer service-based role, strong administration experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional time management and organisation skills, and experience working in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Previous claims management experience and background in Psychology, Allied Health, or Law will be advantageous.
