Bridge Maintenance and Construction Lead

**Job Description:**
\We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating a work crew, providing coaching and leadership to team members, and ensuring the safe completion of projects.
\As a key member of our team, you will supervise a team to carry out maintenance of bridges and drainage structures safely. You will also provide guidance and direction to team members, accept responsibility for work carried out individually or in a team environment by others, and deal with routine problems that arise during the course of work.
\The Carpenter Team Leader will be responsible for performing carpentry trade activities, including the construction and maintenance of bridge structures across the region. This will include maintenance of steel, concrete and timber bridges, slope remediation works, and bridge painting. Daily duties may include, but are not limited to, steel element replacements, falsework and formwork, bearing and joint replacements, and timber bridge maintenance and construction.
\To be successful in this role, you must reside within a 75km distance from the Waratah depot. We take the safety and management of fatigue of our employees seriously.
