Master Craftsman

This role requires onsite management and coordination of a work crew and/or contractors. Key responsibilities include coaching and leading team members, supervising the maintenance of bridges and drainage structures safely.

Responsibilities also include guiding team members, accepting responsibility for work carried out individually or in a team environment by others. The successful candidate will address routine problems that arise during work through acquired knowledge and standard guidelines.

The daily tasks associated with this position include steel element replacements, falsework and formwork, bearing and joint replacements, and timber bridge maintenance and construction.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be outcomes driven to meet project deadlines and quick to think on your feet. As a practical thinker, quick learner, and great communicator who enjoys being physically active and working outdoors, you will thrive in a team setting.

This is a trade qualified carpenter leadership/supervisory position that involves motivating high performing teams. You will oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer expectations.
