About the Role

This role involves delivering settlement services to clients based on policy and guidelines. Clients will be classified into tiers based on their level of need and the complexity of their circumstances.

  • Delivery of settlement services to clients based on policy and procedures.
  • Review and update pre-arrival needs assessments conducted through the initial assessment process.
  • Implement community participation plans via service delivery methods, working in partnership with clients, other staff, and programs.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to track progress against community participation plans and record achievements.
Essential Criteria

- Diploma of Community Services (Case Management); or Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Community Services)
- Demonstrated experience in case management supporting newly arrived refugees and humanitarian entrants during their initial settlement in Australia
- Ability to build rapport and trust with client groups
- Ability to work under pressure, maintaining stable performance in challenging situations
- Time management skills to coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly activities
- Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge and understanding of refugee settlement processes
- High level of written and verbal English skills
