Immunisation Registered Nurse Opportunity
Improving the health of Aboriginal families and communities is at the heart of this role.
As an Immunisation Registered Nurse, you will contribute to stronger, healthier futures for Aboriginal children and families across the Central Coast.
You will join a dedicated Public Health team focused on improving access to immunisation services and lifting vaccination rates.
Deliver education and vaccinations that protect the community and reduce the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases.
This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday (hours to be advised).
Key Responsibilities:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with AHPRA.
- NSW Accreditation as an Authorised Nurse/Midwife Immuniser, or working towards accreditation (training can be supported by an internal scholarship).
- Knowledge of best practice immunisation principles and guidelines, with an understanding of Aboriginal health needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Aboriginal families, community members, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to working within professional and ethical boundaries in a team-based healthcare environment.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence.
