Climate Change Reviewer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced climate change reviewer to provide independent subject matter expertise for our Climate Vulnerability Project.


The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist in environmental science, urban planning, or related fields to contribute to the quality of our draft Climate Vulnerability Assessment Report and associated materials.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical review of report content including spatial data interpretation and environmental indicators clarity consistency and logical structure of report content alignment with grant objectives and strategies and effectiveness of visual materials in communicating findings.
  • Structured actionable feedback on report tone structure and data presentation identification of gaps or inconsistencies in analysis interpretation or literature references and suggestions for enhancements to improve readability and accessibility for non-technical audiences.
  • Review of supporting materials including assessment of relevance and quality of accompanying spatial products strong alignment between data analysis conclusions and literature and compliance with reporting expectations of the grant funding body.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science Urban Regional Planning Geography Public Policy or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical review report editing or subject matter peer review.
  • Familiarity with spatial data products and principles of climate risk communication.
  • Prior experience with grant-funded projects or local government settings is highly regarded.
